Dear visitors, as you have already read or seen in the other pages we are to be found near the French border in a valley which discends from the Maritime Alps towards the Ligurian sea; from which we are a quick ten minute run. It is therefore an ideal place for those who love woods, hills and mountains as those who prefer the sea-side. You can visit our medieval villages, their castles,walk along their "carugi" the narrow cobbly roads between the tall stone built houses,very cool in Summer. One cam visit the shops which sell local products and purchase the excellent Rossese of Dolceacqua, the local wine, or the highly refined extra virgin olive oil made from Taggiasche olives. These are grow exclusively in our area. You can travel by car but if you prefer to cicle we will be happy to provide them. Finally if you want to have a dip in the sea there is the "Riviera dei fiori" or the "Costa Azzurra". In the evenings our tranquil refuge attends you.
